Myrina Beach Hotel

Complete Redesign of a Hotel Complex

This project concerns the upgrade study of Myrina Beach Hotel in Kolymbia, Rhodes, involving a full redesign of both the rooms and the common interior and exterior areas. The study includes four types of rooms, newly designed ground-floor units with private pools, the full exterior facades of the five buildings, the main entrance, reception area, lounge, indoor bar, as well as the central swimming pool with its adjacent bar–restaurant and the surrounding landscape of the complex.

The aesthetic approach is based on a clean, contemporary style with strong Mediterranean architectural influences. Surfaces are defined by soft earthy tones and natural materials such as stone and wood. The use of curved lines in the exterior design introduces a gentle flow and dynamism among the large building volumes.

In the pool area, Mediterranean vegetation plays a key role, with olive trees planted along the surrounding path. The overall composition radiates calmness, establishing a natural continuity from the interior to the exterior.

The design aims to establish a harmonious relationship with the landscape of Rhodes, creating spaces that strike a balance between modern elegance and Mediterranean simplicity.
